Tip 1. To save money and a more relaxing visit buy a Time Travel Pass from Visit Lincolnshire which gives 3 day entry to The Cathedral, Bishops Palace and The Castle
Tip 2. If you take the Walk and Ride 'bus to get up and down Steep Hill (£1.20 or a mature persons bus pass) please remember the stop at The Collection no longer operates.
Tip 3. We often notice that visitors read the sign boards at the entrance to the Cathedral and turn away as they do not want to pay the entrance fee of £5. As the entrance desk is away from the door we urge you to go into the Cathedral to give yourself a 'wow' moment when gazing down the nave and it also gives you the opportunity to visit the Cathedral shop.
Tip4. If you want to go on a roof or tower tour of the Cathedral make sure you get your name down early as only 14 persons can be taken on a tour.
